Owls in Cowls: A Creative Game Studio

No, we are not a cult. And yes, we’ve been asked that before... Owls in Cowls was founded by a group of sleep-deprived creatives - tired of their corporate jobs, nesting in cubicles, and “circling back” on things that never needed circles. One day, we thought: “What if we built an indie game studio that focused on creative game development without the promise to change the world?” So we didn’t. Instead, we created a quirky game  where goats accuse each other of murder, and another where tennis is played on molten courts in a retro-futuristic dystopia. Priorities. And also - synergy. Our name? Simple. Owls = wisdom. Cowls = dramatic flair. Put them together, and you’ve got a team that hoots at industry trends and wears metaphorical cloaks while doing it. Also, we like birds. And layers. We’re not here to disrupt the industry. We’re here to mildly confuse it - one culturally chaotic, deeply playable title at a time.
